Tastiest turkey chilli con carne

Prepared with turkey crumble, this superb tastiest chilli con carne will be a rigid family preferred.

INGREDIENTS Required

  • 1 tablespoon additional virgin olive oil
  • 1 red capsicum, deseeded, finely minced
  • 1 red onion, finely minced, with extra, to serve
  • 1 long fresh green chilli, chopped, with extra, to serve
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 3 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 500g turkey chop up
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 375ml (1 1/2 cups) salt-reduced chicken stock or water
  • 1 tablespoon dried out oregano
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 400g can black beans, rinsed, drained
  • Steamed brown rice, to serve
  • White corn chips, to serve
  • Greek-style yoghurt, to serve
  • Avocado, sliced, to serve
  • Fresh coriander sprigs, to serve

  • Step 1

Warm up the oil in a bigger, deep frying pan on maximum heat. Put the capsicum, onion, chilli and garlic. Lessen heat to average low. Then, start cooking, stirring frequently for 10 minutes or unless get smoothen.

  • Step 2

Amplify heat to maximum level. Put the chop up and start cooking, slices in pieces with a wooden spoon, wait for 5 minutes or unless get chop up transforms colour. Then put the tomato paste and beat to mix. Also add the tomato, stock or water, oregano and cinnamon, Season. Heat on oven to boil. Lessen heat to medium-low and seethe for 25 minutes or unless get fluid has decreased. Beat in the beans. Just only cook for 3 minutes.
